John is a great follow if you are into investing, specifically hard asset investing. Hard assets/commodities are a particularly interesting area of investing because these are the materials that we depend on for our daily life. Steel, gasoline, copper, uranium, etc. all define our standard of living. John has been investing in this area for a long time and with the current market trends I believe now would be the perfect time to talk with him.
The Fed has been printing money to get through Covid. It remains to be seen if this will result in significant inflation, but if it does you would expect to see that in the price of hard assets. Furthermore, there has been an anti-nuclear and anti-coal narrative from the mainstream media for years now. If you live in the West you may be under the impression that nuclear and coal are going away. However, around the world many countries are in the process of industrializing and these materials will be relied upon heavily to increase their standard of living.
